What do I do because school is not supporting my child in mainstream and he/she is struggling?
Individual Education Plan (IEP) will be in place and this will
detail the child's set targets for the term and can be condition
specific. You can ask for the IEP to be reviewed at anytime
and should be asked to sign that they agree to the targets set. You
can also get Parent Partnership involved if you do not feel you are
getting support from school and they will contact the school/SENCO
and organise a meeting to discuss concerns. Parent
Partnership would prefer parents to self refer.
Parent Partnership also provides counselling for parents.
